We also made some other updates in April to improve the chat experience for you and your customers.

A/B Testing for Bot Playbooks

As a marketer, you know that it can take a couple of tries to get the messaging right. You might need to experiment with different variations to find the right message or CTA that resonates with and converts your target audience. And the same can be true for your Drift playbooks, too.

With the A/B testing feature for playbooks in Drift, you can easily:

  • Create and test different bot playbook messages to your defined audiences
  • See which message is performing the best
  • Use this data to optimize your playbook content to convert more visitors into qualified leads

New Conversations Experience

The Drift conversations view is designed to let you quickly access and engage in conversations. It makes messaging prospects fast, easy, and customizable.

In the new conversations view update, you can easily switch between “my conversations,” “all conversations,” and ones with “no participants.”

Find yourself frequently looking for conversations that match a specific set of filters? You can now create a custom section in your inbox to make them easy to find.

Team Routing Fallbacks

Different teams using Drift have different needs – from your sales org to your support org. But, no matter the team, you want to ensure that no conversations fall through the cracks.

Previously, you had to set up team availability at a global level and apply the same rules to multiple teams. Now, you can set up conversation routing rules to meet the needs of your organization with team routing fallbacks.

That’s all for this month. We’ll be back in May with more releases that are designed to improve your Drift experience. In the meantime, feel free to reach out to me with any questions or product suggestions at giyengar@drift.com.
