A contact is anyone you store information on in Drift. (e.g. an email address). We don’t believe in charging you for people that aren’t active though. So here’s what happens at Drift: before you are billed, we proactively go through all of your contacts and exclude those which have not been updated in the last 90 days from your bill. We only charge you for active contacts.
A seat is a user on your team who has a log in to Drift. Our free plan is designed for individuals, our Standard plan is designed for small teams, while our Team plan is designed for larger teams.
All of our paid plans scale to accommodate your growth. Our Standard plan scales to 5 seats and 1k contacts (up to 100k available). Our Team plan scales to 20 seats and 100k contacts. If you have any additional questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out.
