We are so excited that HYPERGROWTH is almost here! Boston is an amazing city with tons of great places to explore, so the Customer Success Team wanted to share our favorite Drift insider locations, focusing on our favorite haunts you won’t see on any travel guide.
Feel free to share your own suggestions with us via (@Drift) using the hashtag #HYPERGROWTH18. Looking for specific recommendations? Reach out to the team at @Drift or find any Drifter at the conference — we want to make sure you get to see all the best parts of our city.
Best Restaurant – Tip Tap Room
Suggested by Julie Hayes, Customer Success Manager @ Drift
One of my favorite restaurants in Boston, with an extensive beer menu “taps” and wild game “tips.” Start with the Boar Meatballs, have whatever is on special for the tips, and finish with the most amazing blackberry white chocolate bread pudding you’ll ever have.
Best Outdoor Work Out – Castle Island
Suggested by Alyssa Donahue, Customer Success Manager @ Drift.
Looking to get a run in while you are here in Boston? Our resident marathoner, Alyssa, recommends Castle Island. The full loop is 2.2 miles, and you get a great view of Boston and the bay. Stop for some fried clams at Sully’s after your workout!
Best Indoor Workout – Everybody Fights
Suggested by Jon Mariano, Customer Success Manager @ Drift
If you are feeling super inspired after hearing George Foreman III, hop on down to his gym, Everybody Fights. Their two locations make it super convenient to book a class right before or after HyperGrowth!
Best Sporting Venue – Fenway Park
Suggested by Erin Silva, Customer Success Manager @ Drift.
There is nothing better than a Fenway frank and tour around America’s most beloved ballpark. There are two home games on 9/7 & 9/8 just after the conference. They also give tours on off-days.
The address is: 4 Yawkey Way, Boston, MA 02215
Best Lobster Roll – Row 34
Suggested by Colleen Koslosky, Customer Success Manager @ Drift.
If you are in Boston, you definitely need to grab a lobster roll before you go! Luckily for you, one of the best lobster rolls is a quick, 10 minute walk from our HyperGrowth venue. Make sure to try some of their freshly shucked oysters as well, they are divine!
Best Seafood – Yankee Lobster
Suggested by Sean MacPherson, Customer Success Manager @ Drift
This tiny restaurant is right next to HyperGrowth, and only holds 10 people, but if you can get a seat, it’s worth it. Best seafood in Boston. Check out this great video by Phantom Gourmet to prepare you for all of the great options available.
Best Museum – Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum
Suggested by Tracy Novello, Customer Success Manager @ Drift
Visit the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum to breathe in how a woman built her home based on her passion for art. The garden alone will make you want to linger to enjoy a book or take in the live music. Plus there was an art heist!
Best Asian Cuisine – Hojoko
Suggested by Jacob Coblenz, Customer Success Manager @ Drift
This is one of my favorite restaurants in Boston. From the creators of ‘O Ya’ (one of Boston’s top restaurants year-over-year). Hojoko is a Japanese tavern style restaurant with small dishes and amazing tiki drinks. Get the Tofu Tempura that often is served with fancy mushrooms and make sure to drink a Raba Raba.
Best Wine Bar – Barcelona Wine Bar
Suggested by Amanda Walters, Customer Success Manager
In the newly bustling South End, a profusion of new restaurants have emerged. Amanda recommends Barcelona has the best meat and cheese board in Boston, and a fantastic wine list!
Best Historical Site – Bunker Hill Monument
Suggested by Alex Lemieux, Customer Success Manager @ Drift
For the best view of the city, take a walk up to the Bunker Hill Monument in Charlestown and climb all 270 steps to the top. And to reward yourself for the climb, stop into the historic Warren Tavern (Paul Revere drank here) for a local Boston brew and their homemade potato chips.
The address is: Monument Sq, Charlestown, MA 02129
Best Brewery – Cheeky Monkey in Fenway
Suggested by Jaclyn Van, Customer Success Manager @ Drift
Cheeky Monkey is a former night club converted into a massive brewery. A great spot for some craft beer (my personal fav is the CM peach apricot IPA), great food (they have poutine), and plenty of games (darts, pool, ping pong, shuffleboard). Veteran tip: walk all the way to the very back room to have Zoltar tell your fortune like in the movie Big!
We really hope you enjoy your stay in our city while you’re here for HYPERGROWTH. If you need anything else while you’re here don’t hesitate to ask us. Just visit drift.com.
