Simplified Search, Customizable Profiles, and Conversation Transcripts: March Updates from Drift

Last month, we launched the latest Drift AI offering to help drive more qualified pipeline for your sales teams faster – AI chatbots.

The updates this month are designed to improve your day-to-day experience with Drift.

Read on to learn more about what we improved in March 👇

Search in Bot Flow

If you have complex playbooks with hundreds of nodes, then finding specific text can be challenging, if not impossible. That’s why Drift now supports searching for text within a bot flow.

To find text, simply type in the keyword you’re looking for.

Profile Settings Redesign

Drift customers book about 25% of their meetings through their Drift Profile, but the old Profile page didn’t match the rest of the Drift experience.

Now, we’ve upgraded the settings page to give you more control over your Drift Profile – from picking a theme to adding more personal details –  and let you book meetings in style.

New Pardot Integration OAuth

Pardot recently turned off support for username/password authorization in favor of Salesforce SSO. To ensure your Drift<>Pardot integration kept running smoothly, Drift released an update to support SSO.

If you haven’t already done so, make sure you reconnect your Pardot integration with SSO in Drift integration settings.

Ability to Extract Conversation Transcripts

Along with a host of other data, customers using Drift’s API wanted to pass conversation transcripts to their BI tools to run sentiment and other analyses.

Our engineers heard you! Drift now supports sending a formatted and readable transcript through the API.

And that’s a wrap for March. Check back in next month for April updates. In the meantime, feel free to reach out to me with any questions or product suggestions at giyengar@drift.com or start a conversation from my Drift Profile.

Enjoy these posts and want Drift updates more often? (Really, why wouldn’t you?) You can now subscribe to get weekly product updates in the Drift Community. Just hit the star at the top of the thread and make sure you have your preferences set up to notify you when there’s a new post.
