Watch Some Highlights Of The Session Below

This live webinar featured serial entrepreneur, rebellious marketer, technology expert, and number one bestselling author Allan Dib. Allan’s presentation focused on the key learnings from the concept that serves as the title of his book, The 1-Page Marketing Plan.

Setting the Stage

Allan begins by offering the general background on his 1-Page Marketing Plan, and how it enables his clients to have clarity around their marketing, and know exactly what they needed to do from a marketing perspective. The plan is broken down into three main parts: the before, during, and after phases.

Confuse Them, Lose Them

From there, Alan offers one of his first main concepts: make the complex simple. The thinking behind this idea is that if you confuse them, you lose them. Websites that try to be clever instead of clear and coherent always lose customers in the end.

Reducing Friction

Allan’s second main takeaway is to use technology to help reduce friction. Technology is there to do the heavy lifting. It’s merely a vessel for automating the tasks that are a waste of a human’s valuable time.

The Common Fallacy

In the midst of his key learnings, Allan makes a point to caution against the common fallacy of “if you build it, they will come.” It’s not always the best products and services that rise to the top of the heap.

May the Best Marketer Win

Allan concludes with the overarching theme of his presentation: the best marketer wins every time. The one who is able to present the clearest message and best engage their audience will always be successful.
