UI Updates, Integrations, and Data Encryption: What’s New This Fall at Drift

It’s a beautiful, sunny, crisp, fall day here in Boston.

If you’ve logged into Drift lately, you’ve probably noticed some sleek new changes. Check out what’s changed:

A New Look and Feel

The leaves are changing color and so is Drift’s platform. Guided by feedback from customers, we’ve remodeled Drift after your favorite social media apps to make your experience easier, faster, and more effective. We’ve freshened it up with lighter and brighter colors, a more intuitive navigation bar, and an easier and faster way to build playbooks.

Here’s what’s new:

  • New UI: A lighter app color and new navigation bar (with a quick link for customers to submit ideas).

  • Drift Video: Choose to turn captions on if/when you need them.
  • Drift Playbook Builder Merge: Merges all playbook builders into one design so you only need to navigate a single design to build playbooks.

But the new UI is not just about looks. It’s built to help you take action to achieve the outcomes you want, too 📈

Book More Meetings, Faster

That’s why we built a number of capabilities that enable you to have the right conversation with the right person at the right time. And then follow up in a hyper-personalized way to turn those conversations into a meeting, faster.

Here’s what’s new:

  • Hook Assistant: Drift identifies which playbooks are underperforming (and where) so you can easily A/B test new hooks to improve conversation and engagement.
  • Routing on Contact Attributes: Your bot will reliably route based on the contact attribute so qualified leads get routed to the right rep, every time.
  • Drift + Salesloft: Ditch cold calls and emails for something more personal. With the Drift + Salesloft integration, you can instantly engage with Salesloft-enrolled target accounts in a personalized way when they come to your website — and even identify new contacts to enroll into a sequence.   • All Account Sync: Automatically sync all your account data, so your reps get notified when their target accounts are on your website. And by using an account’s activity and intent information, reps can start a conversation that’s personalized to their buyer.

Here’s what’s new:

  • Data Encryption at Rest: Maintain data encryption in transit and at rest so your information is safe and secure at all times (EMEA & North America).
  • Multi-Lingual AI Bots: Engage your global buyers on their terms and in their language. We trained our AI bot to fluently speak French and German, in addition to English.
  • Drift + Salesforce AppExchange: As an official ISV partner in the Salesforce AppExchange, it’s faster and easier for Drift customers to do revenue reporting.
